Welcome to Borough Of Barnsley SC website...
Established in 1990 BOBSC is a self financing club whose primary objective is to promote the sport of swimming throughout the Borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The club currently has over 100 active members between the ages of 7 and 25 swimming at all competitive levels up to National Standard.
Affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association, ASA North East Region and Yorkshire ASA, all our Coaches and poolside staff are CRB checked and fully qualified. In 2006 BOBSC gained Swim21 Accreditation and in 2007 was awarded the B&I trophy for being the most improved club in Yorkshire and were winners of the "Club of the Year" award at the Barnsley Sport Awards in 2007, and again in 2009.
